Welcome to My Blog!
Hi, my name is Kenneth A. Camp. Most of my friends and family call me Kenny. Feel free to call me that too!
I enjoy working with teams, whether it is sports, missions or business. Even though change usually causes stress for me, the past 10 years has brought a lot of change.
In 2007 my wife, Danielle and I moved to Thailand for 6 months to volunteer as missionaries. In 2010, we decided to become foster parents. In 2012 we adopted our first foster son.
Later in 2012 I began writing and blogging. Writing is something that I have considered doing for a long time; however, until now I didn’t have the confidence to begin.
I usually post blogs twice a week. The topics range from missional lifestyle, orphan care, international missions, what I am learning about the writing world, to occasionally a personal adventure.
If you have a passion for making a difference in other people’s lives or have a desire to begin writing, this blog is for you.

Who is Kenneth A. Camp
If you are still reading and interested, here are a few bits of trivia about my life:
I have spent most of my life in the Austin, Texas area. My wife and I celebrated 25 years of marriage in April of 2013. That is a blessing and a huge measure of grace from God. I met Danielle after we both were college graduates. I was a youth pastor at a small church in Austin that consisted mostly of young married couples. My mother was sure I was never going to get married. But, one day Danielle walked into the church and into my life.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Bible with a minor in Business from a small school in Brownwood, Texas—Howard Payne University. Go Yellowjackets! ( I really majored in intramural sports).
I have worked in youth ministry, accounting, data entry, project management, and as a missionary/pastor. Now, I am gleaning from all those fields in my writing.
I like to read, play basketball a few times a week, play my guitar, worship my King, share a cup of coffee with a close friend, play with my son, and date my beautiful wife. (Do you get the idea that I like to play al lot?)
