Yes, November is National Adoption Month! A few things happening here on the site and on my social media outlets this month to bring awareness to orphan care.
Foster Care Adoption Blog Tour

A couple of Austin area adoption conference opportunities this weekend
Finally, here are a couple of last-minute opportunities to attend a couple of adoption related conference/break-out sessions this weekend here in Austin:
- Adoption Knowledge Affiliates Annual Conference. Follow the link to find out more info. It is November 8 and 9. Special Guest speaker is Deb Wesselmann, LMHP & EMDR Consultant, from the Attachment & Trauma Center of Nebraska.
- Faith Builders Parenting Conference at The Church at Canyon Creek on Saturday, November 9 from 3-7pm. I am leading a break-out session at this conference on God’s call to care for orphans.
